Concord, NH – The 2025 Women’s Team Championship teed off at Beaver Meadow Golf Course with Round 1 delivering an exciting leaderboard shakeup and stellar play across the field. Two teams emerged tied at the top, each carding a 3-under-par 69 to set the pace. The duo of Mindy Inglis-Reid and Caroline Fang turned in a clean and composed round to share the top spot with Beth Hamilton and Kat Bordeau, who also posted a strong 69 (-3). Both teams showcased impressive teamwork and course management to edge ahead of the rest of the field on Day 1.
Inglis-Reid and Fang’s round was a model of consistency and clutch play. Fang delivered key birdies on holes 10 and 18, while Inglis-Reid added birdies of her own at the 4th and 11th. The team made the turn at 1-under-par, then caught fire on the back nine, going 2-under on the first two holes of the back nine and adding another birdie on the par-4 18th to cap the round in style.
Together, they tallied four birdies, offsetting just one bogey to post one of the lowest scores of the day. Their strong teamwork and ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities has them in prime position to contend for the title.
Much like Inglis-Reid and Fang, Hamilton and Bordeau carded four birdies and just one bogey en route to their 3-under-par 69. They got off to a hot start, with Bordeau rolling in birdies on the opening two holes to quickly vault the team to 2-under-par. Hamilton added another birdie on the par-5 4th hole, and the duo strung together steady pars to make the turn at 3-under-par and firmly in contention.
The back nine was a showcase of consistency, as the pair continued their solid play with a string of pars. A lone bogey on the par-3 17th briefly set them back, but they rebounded impressively with a birdie on the par-4 18th to close out their round at 3-under-par. Hamilton and Bordeau will look to build on their strong start as they head into the final round tied for the lead.
Just three shots back in solo third are Rivers and Hill, who finished even-par with a solid 72. Rounding out the top five are Cyr and Dickison at 2-over-par 74, followed closely by Richardson and Miller, who sit at 3-over-par 75 heading into the second round.
With nine teams within single digits of the lead and plenty of movement still possible on the leaderboard, the final round is shaping up to be a competitive and dramatic finish.
