Concord, NH – Under the pressure of a crowded leaderboard at Beaver Meadow Golf Course, the team of Kat Bordeau and Beth Hamilton held on to claim the 2025 New Hampshire Women’s Team Championship, finishing at 3-under-par (141) after rounds of 69 and 72. They did so in dramatic fashion as the deciding factor came down to the final hole of the competition but Hamilton and Bordeau held steady to close it out for a victory.
Entering the day tied for the lead, Bordeau and Hamilton delivered a composed final-round performance. Though they made the turn at 1-over-par with a single bogey on the card, the back nine proved pivotal. Bordeau sparked the charge with back-to-back birdies on holes 11 and 12 to get themselves back in a tie for the lead. Hamilton provided crucial steadiness with key pars on several tight holes to support their win.
All the drama, however, came down to the final hole with their fellow competitors watching on. The two teams were tied as they stepped up to the 18th tee. Hamilton and Bordeau piped their tee shots right down the middle. Inglis-Reid and Fang unfortunately found trouble on the right side of the hole, forcing them to pitch out to the fairway for a look at the green. With Inglis-Reid and Fang leaving themselves with lengthy putts to save par, Hamilton and Bordeau were able to two-putt their way to a victory.
Settling for second place at 2-under (142) after a 1-over 73 on Thursday, Inglis-Reid and Fang have nothing to hang their heads about. The team stayed in the hunt all day, with Fang making birdies on 5, 6 and 16, while Inglis-Reid added consistency with solid play the whole way through. A bogey on the closing hole, however, proved to be the difference in an otherwise strong final round effort.
Inglis-Reid and Fang’s runner-up finish capped an impressive campaign after sharing the opening round lead with a 69. Their consistent play across both rounds proved they were one of the teams to beat from the very start.
Climbing into solo third was the team of Joan Cyr and Amy Dickison, whose 1-under 71 was the lowest round of the day. They finished at +1 (145), rounding out the podium.
The New Hampshire Women’s Team Championship once again brought camaraderie and competitive play, and the final round drama was a testament to the level of competition and sportsmanship on display.
