Manchester, NH – The spotlight will shine on Derryfield Country Club from July 28–30 as the state’s top female golfers tee it up in the 2025 New Hampshire Women’s Amateur Championship presented by Vigilant Wealth Management. With a blend of veteran champions, rising college stars, and promising junior players, this year’s field features fire power from all ages.
Leading the way is Julianna Megan, a past champion and last year’s runner-up, looking to reclaim the title. She’ll be joined by fellow 2024 runner-up Mady Savary, multi-time champion Dana Harrity, and three-time NH Women’s Player of the Year Kat Bordeau, all of whom bring experience and consistency to the championship.
This year’s field also features a strong group of collegiate talent. Megan, representing Holy Cross, is part of a six-player collegiate contingent that includes Lydia Tufts and Ella Graham from Saint Anselm College, Delaney Nadeau of Monmouth University, Eva Gonzales of Merrimack College, and Cassidy Gallant, who will begin her collegiate golf journey at Bryant University this fall. Their presence elevates the level of play and underscores the depth of talent competing in the event.
Adding to the excitement are two standout junior players, Teagan Nadeau, the 2025 New Hampshire Girls Junior champion, and Josie Lefebvre, this year’s New Hampshire Girls Junior runner-up and the youngest player in the field at just 15 years old. Their inclusion brings fresh energy and a glimpse into the future of women’s golf in the Granite State.
“The Women’s Amateur is always one of the highlights of the season,” said Darin MacEacheron, Director of Women’s Golf for New Hampshire Golf. “To see past champions, college players, and juniors competing on the same stage is a true celebration of women’s golf in New Hampshire. Derryfield will be a fantastic test, and we’re expecting a great week of golf.”
The championship returns to Derryfield Country Club, an 18-hole public course established in 1932 and located in the heart of Manchester. One of only three municipally owned golf courses in New Hampshire, Derryfield’s tree-lined fairways, small greens, and classic layout will demand precision and course management across all three rounds of stroke play.
With talent spread across every age group and background, the 2025 New Hampshire Women’s Amateur presented by Vigilant Wealth Management promises a thrilling and closely contested championship.
